Six Easy Steps To The GLOWIEST Skin Of Your Life

Skip the Scalding Hot Shower
While a good steam session can help restore moisture, spending too much time in hot water will strip your skin of its natural oils, leaving it feeling tight and all dried out. Opt for a warm (or cool!) shower instead, and always lather up with a hydrating body wash in lieu of regular bar soap.

Drink More Water
According to the Institute of Medicine, women should drink around 9 cups of water per day (while men should drink about 13). Make a point of always having a bottle within arm's reach; that way you
won't forget to sip, sip, sip. Upping your H2O intake helps your body eliminate toxins more efficiently, and helps prevent internal dryness, which is known to make wrinkles more visible.

Use a Hydrating Face Cream Every Night
Your skin replenishes itself while you're slumbering, so help it along and moisturize before you hit the sack. While your skin is still damp post-cleanse, slather on a thick moisturizer, best if it's formulated with hyaluronic acid, a hydration booster that attracts and locks in moisture.

Always Remember Sunscreen
Sunburned skin is severely dehydrated, so double down and add an ultra-moisturizing sunscreen to your daily routine. Get a sunscreen that has  broad spectrum SPF protection and vitamin D3 to balance your skin's moisture levels.

Exfoliate Regularly
Regularly but not too often! Quite simply, removing dead skin cells on a weekly basis helps moisture reach deeper dermal layers. But here's the thing—don't ever over do it: Too much exfoliation can make your skin even more dry, as well as sensitive and irritated.

Eat a Diet Rich in Omega-3s
Aside from being generally healthy and rather yummy, salmon, tuna and walnuts also pack a heavy dose of omega-3 "good fats," which fortify cell membranes so they can better retain water.
