A meaningful life is not about being rich, highly educated or being perfect. It's about being real, humble, sticking to your core values and touching the lives of others. I always try to remind myself that there is more to life than money, one thing we shouldn't lose for pleasure is integrity. Yes we might enjoy the fame, money and captivating audience for a while but we will definitely
run out of inner peace and tranquility in the long run when we give up integrity. A woman of integrity never abandons her standards no matter how tempting an offer seems to be. Integrity simply means moral uprightness.
For your thoughts, words, and actions to ever be aligned you need to stick to your 'set of rules'. In any type of relationship, integrity is always required for there to be continuity. At some point people will stop taking you serious, when your words are never aligned with your actions. Your partner will respect your when you stick to your standards and your words, your business associates will respect you more when do exactly what you said you were going to do. When you lose integrity, you will also lose your dignity, respect from others, inner peace and tranquility.
Life can be tough, decisions can be hard to make and offers can be very tempting but never give up integrity for pleasure. There is nothing as pleasant as walking with your head high, knowing that you've got yourself in check with your principles. There is a grace that comes with incorruptibility! I'll tell you this, if something is meant for you, you will never have to sacrifice integrity to earn it. Respect yourself enough, to walk away from anything that is not aligned with your core values. Don't ever mark down your price tag by giving up your standards!
